The annual tournament on the Okavango is an established money competition. It is easy to add a team format competition to the event.
The team event on Lake Malawi is also an annual event and it also creates the opportunity to expand the competition into an annual international event.
1)
Due to the fact that juniors cannot always get leave from school, some tournaments are held in the beginning of December. These tournaments clash with the Malawi tournament. In such cases SAALAA will try to field a SAALAA team or forward the invitation to its provinces.
2)
Dates and venues can be adapted by the committee should angling conditions and local conditions demand changes.
